Cville is your town, Taylor is your county, what do you want?

2015-02-08 - Campbellsville, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener.
Campbellsville is your town, Taylor is your county, what do you want over the next five years? That was the question posed by Tad Long and Bobbie Bryant, community development advisors with the Kentucky League of Cities, who spoke at the Campbellsville Taylor County Chamber of Commerce luncheon Tuesday. They encouraged members to attend next week's planning meeting to kick off local strategic plan development scheduled for Thursday, February 19, 2015 in the Civic Center at 205 North Columbia Avenue, Campbellsville. Included in the discussion will be trends for jobs and businesses, discussion about the importance of regions beyond county lines and city county borders in this global society, and more. They will also stop in Columbia to meet with the mayor next week to see if Columbia is ready to sign up for strategic plan development. In the photo Bryant is speaking, to her far right are Campbellsville mayor Tony Young and Long. --LW
