In the winter time there's a pretty good view of a stretch of Summer Shade Road, Summer Shades "Main Street" from the McWhorter Road hill. The steeple tops Summer Shade Christian Church, on the north side of Summer Shade Road between Patty Wade Road and KY 640/Randolph Summer Shade Road.
