Snow on Spurlington Road, KY 744, Taylor Co, KY 7 Jan 2014

2015-01-07 - Taylor County, KY - Photo by Larry Smith, The Big Dawg, 99.9 Radio.
Taylor County, KY, has snow only in one section of the county. This is snow covered Spurlington Road - KY 744. The road is not only along the Taylor-Marion County Line, it is also where the Pennyrile meets the Bluegrass. Taylor County School District Superintendent Roger Cook and TC Transportation Director Rodney Turpen have announced that any parent in this area who wants to pick up their child from school early today may do so, but they have also gone on record to say that unless condition much worst than the forecast, regardless of low temperatures, there will be school in the Taylor County School District tomorrow, 8 Jan 2015. Larry Smith, Operations Manager, Shoreline Communications, 99.9 FM the Big Dawg and 92.7 FM the WAVE.
