Missing dog crisis solved in 41 minutes. Family was prepared

It's the kind of dog story we like best of all. Chase, above, the handsome beagle/rat terrier puppy, ran away from home. Shortly after, at 9:13pmCT, when no one happened to be posting on CM, a notice came in: "Our puppy ran away. Our puppy ran away today. She is about 6 months old, wears a red collar with little white bones on it. She is a mix between a beagle and a rat terrier, so she is very petite. Her name is Chase and our little boys really miss her. If you could post this, we would really appreciate it." A few minutes later this great photo of the pet came through. Forty-one minutes later, the crisis was over. "We found our dog. Thanks so much though!" CM had nothing to do with he recovery. What we liked so much is the family was so prepared to find the puppy if he ever got lost. Nothing helps locate a dog, in our long experience, than a good photo. We really enjoy helping folks get reunited with lost pets, but we like it even better when the reunion can be so routine - with almost no cost. Chase's family did just that. That's
