Mr. James Bratcher sworn in as Commercial Vehicle Inspector

2014-11-25 - Simpson Co., KY - Photo from Commercial Vehicle Enforcement. Mr. James Bratcher has successfully passed the initial two weeks of federally required training to allow him to enforce federal and state rules and regulations pertaining to commercial vehicles. The training held in Atlanta Georgia is the primer for all inspectors and officers to equip them with the knowledge and skill set to enforce the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s regulations. During his training Mr. Bratcher was required to demonstrate his abilities and training by conducting 32 supervised level one commercial vehicle inspections. Of those inspections multiple violations were found including 16 vehicles being deemed unsafe to continue operation and an out of service order issued. Mr. Bratcher was recently sworn in by the Honorable Judge Crocker of Simpson County to allow him to begin his duties as a Commercial Vehicle Inspector.
