Epicurean Kentuckian: Custom Pizza in the building stage

2014-11-06 - 1450 Campbellsville Road, Columbia, KY - Photo (c) ColumbiaMagazine.com.
Is it a Farmers Market Pizza or a Salad Pizza, or what?
More than one person has created versions since Anderson's Pizzeria started a weekday noon lunch buffet. One EK contributor called it a "Salad Pizza," but Barbara Armitage, the founder of the Adair County Garden Club and Farmers Market on the Square, said, "No, it's a Farmer's Market Pizza." The management says there isn't an official name - yet. The one above is still awaiting diced red onions and a dressing. Barbara Armitage makes hers almost vegan - she does use cheese. Her husband, Wayne, seemed to want a 32 oz Porterhouse Steak on his, not a likely option anytime soon. Anderson's Pizzeria, 1411 Campbellsville Road, Columbia, KY.
