Favorite Old Photo: Bearwallow Cemetery, ca 1940s

2014-11-06 - Photo from Murrell Burton collection.
Murrell Burton of Burton Realty & Auction Co., Columbia, KY, found this photo in his collection which shows a much sparser populated Bearwallow Cemetery than today's. Over the some seven decades since, a lot has changed, but this is one case where an already incredibly beautiful scene is even prettier. The beautiful white frame church the second on the property, has been faced with brick and an impressive steeple, crowned with a cross, has been added, and a fellowship hall has been built behind the church, as well. The church is now part of the United Methodist Church denomination. Comments are welcome. - CM
