Moments earlier, Baxter the Black Vulture appeared to be just one of the a venue of vultures ruling over this beautiful Adair County farm scene. It took a bit of noise to get the others to fly away. This one stayed. Does anyone out there in Birds of Kentucky land know if this is usually the case. That this is part of the natural behavior of a venue? Your comments are welcome. as always. Incidentally, black vultures are a natural part of nature, but everyone should know of their presence here, and know that in some cases, they can present a danger to live smaller pets, even children. - CM
