Soft skills 101 - Just visit the Farmers Market on the Square

2014-10-26 - Adair Annex Parking Lot, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY - Photo (c) ColumbiaMagazine.com. Wayne Armitage at Tucker's Station Farms, beside the latest banner for the he and Barbara Armitage's very popular "store." The banner now features the beautiful i-Frame house on Bull Run Road which the Armitages have restored. Wayne is a favorite with the market customers. He's sticks to business, but he also has time to tell people about TSF products as well as his specialty, Heavenly Homstead Cheese. He has most of the answers about the wide variety of cheeses he sells - and he's candid about whether he likes them or not. Importantly, when he doesn't have the answer, he almost always knows where to go for the answer. It was the last day of the season at Farmers Market on the Square until the first Saturday in April 2015 or so the plans go now, leaving a lot of the thousands who visited the market this summer anxious for that day. - (c) CM
