3rd Annual Adair Co. Book Fair: Denver Wilson, Russell Co., KY

2014-10-12 - 500 Public Square, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. Popular Russell County, KY, Author Denver E. Wilson was at the Adair County Book Fair, Saturday, 11 Oct 2014, with a number of his works. Above, with his most popular one, "Bootlegging in Paradise." The book is a highly entertaining one, which delves into operations of large and small scale illegal sales of alcoholic beverages in the days when prohibition prevailed everywhere between the Tennessee border, Richmond, KY, and Lebanon, KY. Wilson's wife, Claradon Wilson, is well know in the area for her work with the Russell Springs Times-Journal. - CM
