Scenic Adair Co., KY: Steep, steep Hood Cemetery Road

2014-09-24 - Adair County, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. The views from little known Hood Cemetery Road are spectacular. It seems like a trip down a West Virginia mountain side. This scene was captured earlier this week, on a foggy morning, from higher up the hill, catching a switchback below as the road joins Pelham Branch Road. Already there's a hint of fall color, which, we're hearing, will peak at around the end of October, anticipated to be the most beautiful fall ever. - EW (Hood Cemetery Road is steep. If anyone has metrics on just how steep, please let us know.)
