(Capt.) Tony Grider while serving on City Council



2014-08-21 - City Hall, 116 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. Hardly anyone in Adair County does not know Tony Grider He's served in so many ways. For those who may not have had the pleasure of knowing him, here's a picture of him in the foreground, as a young, very enthusiastic Columbia City Councilman. He continues to serve the community in many ways. Tonight, he's in the University of Louisville Medical Center, in urgent need of prayers. A prayer vigil will be held at the Columbia/Adair County Fire Department, 200 Merchant Street, Columbia, KY, tonight at 7pmCT for Capt. Grider, Alex Quinn, and fellow firefighters Steve Marrs and Alex Johnson. The photo was taken while he was on the Columbia City Council. Others in the photo were Councillors Jim Hadley and June Parson, and City Clerk Sonya Roy.
