Tax Proposal Chart - 16: How funds would be spent

2014-08-21 - City Hall, 116 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY - Photo by Tax Committee. Sequestration of Funds - The bar graph above indicates the proposed use of proceeds from a payroll tax, with funds pre-ordained to go to different interest groups or causes. Economic Development would be allocated 30%, as would the General Fund. The rainy day fund would get 20%, Parks & Recreation 10%, and Improvements, 10%. The chart was part of the presentation by the Columbia City Council Tax Committee, June Parson, Robert Flowers, and Craig Dean.
