A place for benches? as Mayor Harris suggests

2014-07-15 - Well Walk off the Square, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. Mayor Mark Harris has suggested this busy, broad walkway off the Public Square in Downtown Columbia as a candidate-site for park benches. The street is home to Dr. Rayna Brown's dental practice, Farmland Publication (Farmers Pride & Adair County Community Voice), Best Buys department store, and the newest business on the strip (actually on the Public Square), Dirty Dog Grooming. It's also conceivable that picnic table(s) might be placed there and that one day a clear canopy might protect the walk. - CM
