2014 Adair County Fair Fireworks Show: Double burst 2014-07-05 - Adair Co. Fairground, 413 Fairground Street, Columbia, KY - Photo CM Staff photo. A bright double burst lit the infield bright enough that one can almost make out the Adair County Fire Department's Ladder One in the infield at the the fairgrounds. It does show a part of what became an impromptu drive in theater, with every parking space within a half mile seemingly occupied by spectactors view the show from the comfort of their automobiles. Those fortunate enough to have pickup trucks backed in the parking spaces, set up folding chairs in the bed, and used the tailgate for benches to accommodate up to five or six comfortably with some of the best seats in the house.
