2014-06-12 - From West of Columbia, KY - Photo Photo by Doyle Lloyd.. First posted on CM way back on this day in 2009, with the following caption: "DOYLE LLOYD took this spectacular picture of nature's light show last night, Thursday, June 11, 2009, and captioned it 'Electric.' Coincidentally, one can't help but notice that the image on the left is trident shaped, while the one of the right has the general appearance of a Christian cross." Thumbing through the slide show one can see Adair County's dashing answer to dancer John Travolta - back before he became the staid, solid, public servant dude he is today. It's in the photo slide show for Daily News for Friday, June 12, 2014 which recorded the way we were, back when a body could still get a good Buffalo Burger right here in Columbia, when memories of the great barn at Happy Hollow was on our minds, when we still had the Dream Depot, and when the Breeding Area Volunteer Fire Department made history with its first ever pancake breakfast - and a lot more.
