Identified Flying Thing in Sunset at Little Cake. Or is it that?

2014-06-07 - Little Cake, Adair County, KY - Photo by Wendy Gousha. Last evening I wanted to take a picture of the sunset on Little Cake. As I was trying to do so, this deer fly kept buzzing around my head and as luck would have it, he flew right into the path of the picture and I would never be so lucky to have this happen again. After I was finished the ungrateful pest bit me!!! Sincerely, - WENDY GOUSHA . (Note: it may be a deer fly, but it looks an awful lot like a 'Moth Man' to us. - CM)
