Scene of S-10 Blazer crash on Wheeler Hill Road

2014-06-05 - Wheeler Hill Road, Columbia, KY - Photo Cellphone . This was the scene on Wheeler Hill Road at around 7amCT, Wednesday, June 4, 2014, after the driver of the 2003 S-10 Blazer at rest in the drainage ditch had been taken by Adair EMS to Westlake Regional Hospital. The wreck was called in to 911 at 6:34amCT, and Adair County SO Officer BJ Bray arrived on the scene at 6:48amCT from a point on KY 551/Knifley Road. The driver extricated himself, made it to the top of the embankment, and was spotted by passing motorists as he was lying by the roadside. The vehicle was southbound. The point is just north of Santa Fee Baptist Church in The Flat Woods.
