Academic? or Athletic? Papaw gets a smile

2014-06-02 - Centenary United Methodist Church, Shelbyville, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. Evan Smith Waggener had a pretty good gallery for his 5th grade graduation. His Papaw, Ken Smith of Flat Woods (Greenup County; not one of the two Flatwoods, KY, in Adair; their Flat Woods has a Wheeler Hill Road, just like we do in our Flatwoods off KY 61), KY, we think, is mentioning a real highlight of the day, going to a Baseball Game in Louisville, KY, after school that day, while his Nona, Kay Smith posed for the family photo. She's a retired teacher, and, among other things, keeps the kids sights on academic accomplishments.
