City receives $1,998 Grant for Dash Cams and Tactical Go Bags

Mayor Harris, left and Chief Jason Cross with representative Jon Steiner from KLCIS. - The City of Columbia was recently awarded $1,998 by the Kentucky League of Cities Insurance Services (KLCIS). The grant will be used for dash cams and tactical go bags. "We were very pleased to receive this grant," said Chief Cross. "We use every opportunity to make our city safer." Mayor Mark Harris added that, in these uncertain times, grants such as this one are a practical way to make our budget go further.
