Election 2014: Joe Rogers for Adair County Judge Executive - II

2014-05-14 - Columbia, KY - Photo Campaign Photo.

Vote for JOE ROGERS
for Adair County Judge Executive

As election-day approaches, I want to take this final opportunity to ask for the support of the Democratic community as I seek election for the office of Adair County Judge Executive. May 20th is rapidly approaching and it is time to choose the right candidate to run in the fall. I believe I am the right candidate.

I have been the 6th district magistrate for 24 years and I feel that positions me uniquely to address the issues that are so important to my fellow Adair countians. I know the ins and outs of county and state government and have received ongoing (over 680 hours of) training and education as a government official over the course of my tenure.

As an agribusiness man, I am acutely aware of the importance of managing money. I want the opportunity to ask the tough questions that need to be asked when presented with budgets and expense reports. The, "how" and "why", questions need answers before money is spent. This is part of the job, but far from its entirety.

I have met with many people during my campaign and the concerns shared with me are the same concerns I have for our future. We need industry and business to come to Adair County, now, to address immediate needs. Past that, though, a vigorous, sustainable and growing economy is crucial for future generations. I promise to reach out to contacts I have in Frankfort and across the state while working diligently with state and local government to foster relationships that will guarantee success.

Persons or industry looking to establish new business in Adair County will require a hospital. That is one reason it is imperative that we have a hospital here. The hospital is crucial for the welfare of the citizens of Adair County. I will not stand idly by and allow special interest groups or individuals to succeed at the expense of the citizens of this county.

I want the opportunity to serve Adair County as County Judge Executive. I promise to put the people of this county first and foremost in any decision I make while in office.

Sincerely,

- Joe Rogers Paid for by Joe Rogers
