Columbia Construction Traffic 2014-05-12: by Dawn's Early Light



2014-05-12 - Intersection S Reed and E Fortune Streets, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. Parking spaces were already being filled before 6amCT at the Municipal Parking Lot at the corner of E Fortune & S Reed Streets, with vehicles normally parked at home on E Fortune were moved to avoid being blocked in by construction today. Stotts Construction will be undertaking the most challenging construction of he entire Downtown Project Phase 14/I when they replace the aging water main while negotiating a maze of telephone, cable, sewer and water lines 100-122 E Fortune Street. Construction will also be underway in the 100 Block of South Reed Street. - EW
