To the voters of Adair County, Kentucky Hello, my name is Chris Janes, I am a Republican candidate for Adair County Sheriff. I am the son of Dale and Brenda Janes, and the Grandson of the the late Bee and Jessie Janes. My wife Christina and I live in the Sparksville community. We have two sons, Clayton, and Luke, in the Adair County schools. I am currently employed by a construction company as a Project manager. My job responsibilities include managing multiple jobs at the same time, managing the people on the jobs, scheduling of the jobs, scheduling meetings, and making sure that the jobs make the profit margins that the jobs are projected to make. I am running for sheriff because I want help the people in Adair County. I want to serve and protect the citizens of Adair County. I think as a sheriff there needs to be more involvement with the youth, such as educating them about drugs and alcohol. I have been very successful as a business manager, as far as managing people and managing money. If elected as your next Adair County Sheriff, I will run this office as a business, as it should be run. I will have an open door policy to talk to the citizens on a professional level as well as a friendly neighborly level. I will be involved with the youth in our county. But most importantly I will do the job as Sheriff, I will be fair and honest, I will treat people as I would expect to be treated. I will always abide by the constitution,and stand behind and protect our second amendment rights, and at the end of the day I will work for you, the tax payers, and the citizens of Adair County. I know without a doubt that I am the right person to serve YOU as your next Adair Co. Sheriff. So I ask for you consideration, and vote on May the 20th.
