2013 tomato plant provides breakfast tomatoes April 4, 2014

2014-04-04 - Mercer Co., KY - Photo By Mike Watson. Over 500 tomatoes from two plants - Early crocus champeen and tomato grower Mike Watson enjoyed mini-Grape tomatoes with breakfast this morning, April 4, 2014, from a plant he purchased April 13, 2013, from Caitlin Helm at the Farmers Market on the Square. With the sausage patties, eggs over easy, toast and eggs over easy, it made a breakfast fit that couldn't be beat. The Farmers Market on the Square opens its 2nd season Saturday, April 5, 2014, 8am-1pmCT - for an extra hour this year, for a 30 week run from April 5, 2014 through Saturday, October 25, 2014 in the Adair Annex Parking Lot, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY.
