Baseball moms all smiles on perfect day at the game

2014-03-15 - ACHS Baseball Field, 326 Gen. John Adair Drive, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. There were many lulls long enough for a photo op, but, from left Lisa Burton, Melinda Franklin, and Lachana Scholl, got one moment, as a 4-4 tie in the 4th inning in the first game of the doubleheader between Adair County and Southwestern High of Pulaski County kept fans intent on the game. Most of the day, the large crowd, drawn by perfect baseball weather, kept lines at the concession stand. Lisa Burton is the mother of Adair County's No. 13 Kyle Burton; Melinda Franklin is the mother of No. 28 Daniel Franklin, and Lachana Scholl is the mother of Adair County's No. 6 Chad Scholl.
