Epicurean Kentuckian: Fresh Salad at Harvest Cafe

2014-03-11 - 212 Public Square, Columbia, kY - Photo CM staff photo.
An EK Critique Felt really special when this salad was being made in front of my eyes and I was asked about the mix of greens, cheese, and and what I didn't want - croutons or bacon - and it was delightful - the salad, the fresh brewed unsweetened ice tea and the service. Ambience? How about soft jazz for background music and stunning photographic displays (for sale at very fair prices) by Carrie Peterson. And the view from the back of the store is amazing. Best of all, feeding two Corned Beef Reuben Sandwiches eaters on either side - the tab, with a standard tip was $20.00. Try that in the city. at HARVEST CAFE, formerly Cafe on the Square. Click to Current MENU for call ahead, carryout orders. Hours: Monday through Friday, 10amCT-5pmCT. Closed Saturday & Sunday. 212 Public Square, Downtown Columbia, KY. Non Smoking. Occasional and soft audio. In Walking Distance of Lindsey Wilson College. 270-380-1004
