Eight LWC students attend social advocacy conference

2014-03-02 - Valparaiso, IN - Photo by Duane Bonifer. LWC photo. Eight Lindsey Wilson College students and staff members spent their weekend at a national conference about student engagement. The students, who are members of LWC's "Introduction to Community Development" class, attended the IMPACT Conference, held Friday through Sunday in Valparaiso, IN. The IMPACT Conference is the largest annual conference in the nation focused on engaging college students in service, advocacy and social action. The 30-year-old conference brings together students, administrators, faculty, AmeriCorps members and VISTAs, and nonprofit professionals.
