Diane Rose, standing discussed cycling's place in the Trail Town Initiative now being organized in Columbia and Adair County with Brenda Mann, right, as Ellen Zornes listened. Rose and husband Gary Rose, founders of "BikeAdairCounty.org," attended Rotary especially to hear the Trail Town presentation by Zornes, whose "Trail Town" binder is getting fuller each day as new aspects of the program are found. Gary Rose told the gathering that a follow up study of a biking/walking trail in Pennsylvania found that property values increased 10% and crime when down after the trail was open. The occasion was the Columbia Rotary Club meeting, Tuesday, February 24, 2014, at Lindsey Wilson College.
