As I've said many times before, nature never ceases to amaze me. The form of this three inch diameter Grapevine is an amazing natural occurrence. The way it stair steps up from the ground to the trunk of this ancient Eastern Red Cedar is such an unusual form and in my nearly 50 years of exploring the Great Wooded South this is the first time I've seen anything like it. Additionally, although it may look like it, I can assure you that the Grapevine is not growing out of the Cedar but has climbed all the way to the top of the tree. Can you see it? - BILLY JOE FUDGE
