Portrait of the artist and her medium

2013-12-31 - Columbia, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener.
Matilda Ann (Tillie) Waggener inherited her mother's big blue eyes and her dad's artistic insights in addition to many other traits from both sides and beyond. Tillie comes from Powells, Marcums, Chelfs, McClures, Leftwiches, Turners, Damerons, Scotts and others in a long line of Kentuckians. She was caught by surprise here just when she was focused on opening the new Christmas pink play dough. Many art sculptures and two science projects later she had to head back home to Shelbyville. G-dad Ed and Mema Linda hope she and her parents, Tom (in photo) and Teresa Waggener, will in Tillie's words, "be wight back!"
