Lou Ann Wolford Overton's new book published

Lou Ann Wolford Overton, who grew up on Lindsey Wilson Street in Columbia, KY and attended schools in Adair County (ACHS '63), has recently written and illustratted a children's book, "Thank You, Moon." She was a teacher in the LaRue County, KY school system and now lives in the White, GA, in the Atlanta Metro area, with her husband, Jerry Overton. She is the daughter of the late Col. Bob & Mary Wolford of Adair County, KY. The Overton's have two children, Cassie Richardson and Jason Overton. The book is available in eBook and softcover format on Amazon.com. It was published by WestBow Press, a Christian faith division of Thomas Nelson, Bloomington, IN, which describes the book with these words, "Awaken your child's curiosity about one of God's glorious creations. O God, You have taught me from my youth; And to this day I declare Your wondrous works. Psalm 71:17." Ms. Wolford is a an active member of "Women of Faith."
