Wizard of Oz poster enhances theme for 3rd grade reading

2013-11-25 - ACES, 870 Indian DR, Columbia, Ky - Photo by Alice Curry, ACES Technology Teacher. Mary Gutelius and Ashton Flatt are holding a poster donated to Mrs. Candi Flatt's class by Ms. Kim Goodin, a retired principal, who has had the poster since childhood. Mrs. Flatt's 3rd grade class is reading The Wizard of Oz in their textbooks. The classroom theme is all about this classic novel and Mrs. Flatt's decoration in the room reflect this theme. Mrs. Flatt's classroom would like to extend to Ms. Goodin their heartfelt appreciation for this gracious donation. - Shamarie Claiborne, Adair County School District Media Coordinator
