The Alta Garnett House: Deconstruction nearing completion

2013-11-20 - 100 block, S High Street, Columbia, KY - Photo CM iPhone photo. The view is changing rapidly as the deconstruction of the Alta Garnett House nears completion. Elements of the beloved old landmark being carefully removed for reuse in many ways. Begley Chapel, V.P. Henry Auditorium, the Lindsey Wilson Water Tower, the roof lines of the Adair Annex and the Columbia Baptist Church and the Historic Adair County Courthouse share domination of the skyline with the towering pines on the hill of Lindsey Wilson. The photo was taken Wednesday, November 20, 2013.
