An Oscar, a mini mural, public art on soon to be razed JAIS

2013-11-15 - JAIS, 202 Gen. John Adair School, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. For a teacher, there must not be any higher accolade than this one. This is just one of the public art pieces left on the walls of John Adair Intermediate School. In it's final year, John Adair, the building, was the No. 1 school facility in the Commonwealth needing replacement. John Adair, the school was the No. 1 in academic achievement in the system. In a short time, John Adair, the building will be gone and may be forgotten, but not John Adair, the school.
