2013-11-02 - Garliin, Adair County, KY - Photo By Joe Dickson. Early Ice, Cold Rain Sorry these are a little blurry. Stepped out on deck just after a rain at around 5:30 pm on November 2, 2013 in Garlin and we found this. Did anyone else have any? - - Joe Dickson (Yes, it was just a 40 minutes ago. When the temperature was in the 50's. Joe Dickson answered a request and called to say "pm" is correct. "That's what made it so strange," he said. "Both my daughter Ashley and wife Sheila saw it. At first we thought it was hail - but it was ice." He said there was a hard rain up at Garlin. There wasn't any rainfall in Columbia, though there were dark ominous clouds to the east of town.
