Scenic Adair Co., KY: Prim Fair View of Greensburg Street

2013-11-02 - 500 Public Square, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener.
Just when we thought the fall color would fail
, just after we thought Thursday evening's storm would take all the leaves off the trees before the favorite season was over, autumn turned glorious. Friday, November 1, 2013, was a beautiful day. This photo was taken as Prim Fair Fair preparations were in their final steps before today's big event looking past the ramp on the Greensburg Street entrance to the Historic Courthouse. The orange tree is just beyond Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, at the SE corner of Greensburg Street and N High Street. Downtown will be alive with activity today, with the Farmers Market 8am-12noonCT, in the Adair Annex Parking Lot, and The 2nd Annual Primitive Fair 9am-4pmCT inside the courthouse.
