Silent City 2013: Adair Hosts with the Most

2013-10-30 - Columbia Cemetery, 315 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. Ol' Joe Barbee looking very much like his famous BBQ sauce logo, is flanked by son-in-law Terry Harvey and daughter Susan Harvey. The Barbees came early and stayed through the entire Silent City program and the "Looking Backward...." video presentation at Adair County Public Library. Their kinsman, Barry Loy, gave an outstanding performance as Martin Luther Loy, the first of the Loy's in Adair County. The Barbees were hosts Saturday for supporters of Max Wise, Campbellsville, KY, who is running for the Republican nomination for 16th District Kentucky State Senator in a six-county district including Adair, Taylor, Cumberland, Clinton, McQueary, and Wayne Counties.
