Scenic Adair Co., KY: Plum Point Bridge

2013-10-18 - Plum Point Bridge, Green River Lake, Adair Co., KY - Photo by Daring Young Men in their Flying Machine. Larry Smith, Operations Manager, Shoreline Communications sends another photo from his Epic Flight with Pioneer Aviator Alan W. Reed counterclockwise around the epicenter of the universe, Columbia, KY, and admits that his pilot, a stick-to-business stickler for safety, wasn't even tempted to fly under the bridge as anyone who's ever seen Second Hand Lion would want to do, or who has ever heard Ol' Joe Barbee relate the story of the Campbellsville Pilot who bought a plane, read the manual and went up, flew under the bridge and then back under it and then went home and sold the plane, fearing that he might end his life pulling such a stunt again. Taunts may be relayed to Lar-on-the-air at 270-250-2730, but please do not bother Mr. Reed, who is diligently at work for the taxpayers at this time. - CM
