Picture with real candidate, real editor, part-fantasy caption

2013-10-13 - 200 Quadrant, Public Square, Columbia, KY - Photo Adair County Community Voice.
Fantasy submitted caption: "Breaking news from downtown Columbia! Ed Waggener apparently succumbed to local pressure and started hanging out at the Republican Party Booth during Downtown Days. A local newspaper editor who wished to not be identified reported that Waggener told U.S. Sen. candidate Matt Bevin that he is pretty sure a "right" turn is in his near future. He then threw up his hands and yelled, 'Ted Cruz 2016.' That's my story and I'm sticking to it." ("Anonymous," ??? writes) The True Facts Fact: He was thinking, "Where IS Bill Clinton when I need him? As an unbiased reporter, he is not taking sides, he'll support whatever President we elect in 2016, whoever She is; whatever Senator Kentucky sends to the United States Senate in 2014, whoever She is; but would support a move to recruit Matt Biven to Adair County after the 2014 Fall election; he could do a lot of good around here under Adair County's Retired Millionaire Relocation Program. It was all in fun. A good time was had by all. - ED WAGGENER
