BAVFD - Big player in SC KY 1st response effort/Brandon Harvey



2013-10-06 - Caldwell Road, Green County, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. It's never a surprise to see familiar Adair County faces when catastrophic fires occur anywhere in the area. Above Brandon Harvey, Training Officer for department and its chief grants writer on the scene when a spectacular Friday, September 6, 2013, residential blaze (See Fire destroys huge structure in the Haskinsville Community) on Caldwell Ridge Road in Green County drew firefighters from Green, Taylor and Adair County. He's the son of BAVFD Chief Terry Harvey, a full time Campbellsville-Taylor County Fire Deptment employee, and still finds time to coordinate media publicity including promotions for events such as the Chili Suppers and Fish Fries for which the department is famed.
