Kay Bowman: New SPGE reporting forms still complicated

Kay Bowman,, treasurer of the Columbia/Adair County Economic Development Authority (CACEDA) told the group's membership this morning that new reporting rules for Special Purpose Governmental Entities (SPGEs) are complex, but not so much more so than old ones for Special Taxing Districts were. CACEDA and other SPGE's accountability requirements have changed under Kentucky House Bill 1, recently adopted by the Kentucky General Assembly. First reports under the new rules, registration, is due by December 31, 2013.
