Best theatre in Columbia today: LWC parking lot

2013-09-13 - from 409 Fairground Street, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. It was fun this morning to watch the frenzy of work at the new Lindsey Wilson Parking Lot from across the road, from the Friday morning Farmers Market at the Adair Cooperative Extension office. We're hoping someone will send story with the science on the parking lot, but have been told by a knowledgeable source that a Lindsey Wilson professor had the idea to add much needed campus parking, slow run off of water, and purify it to a great extent before it's released to the drainage system into Russell Creek. The excavation work is being done by Pyles Excavating, Columbia. The Farmers market is open this morning until 10amCT, at 409 Fairground Street, Columbia, KY.
