Still time to buy Duck Race entries



2013-09-02 - 102 Public Square, Columbia, KY - Photo By Ed Waggener. Charles Grimsley and his finance' Holly Edwards were having a busy morning selling ducks for the 7th Annual Wacky Quacky Duck Race, which will be held at 2pmCT, today, Labor Day, Monday, September 1, 2013, at a to-be-revealed location on Russell Creek or a major tributary such as Butler Branch. The location will be announced as soon as the official WQ Duck Race revelator, Greg Thomas, makes the somber announcement as to where the biggest sports event of the year will be. There are big prizes to be had: 1) An iPad. 2) A Gas Grill, and 3) A $100 Gas Card. Duck Entries will be sold until minutes before the race. Proceeds go to the Columbia/Adair County Parks and Recreation Board equipment, supplies, improvements and other needs.
