BBQ King Jay Cox at BSST Day 2013

2013-09-02 - In front of Bank of Columbia, 144 Public Square, Columbia, KY - Photo BY Ed Waggener. Jay Cox who has earned BBQ & Country Ham fame at private gigs around the county before gaining world wide fame at the Saturday Farmers' Markets on the Square, dons his apron preparing his food stand this morning. He'll have breakfast ready - by now - and those specialty items he's become known for: which include Hamburgers, Shoulder, and, today, Tenderloin. Several other food stands are mixed in among the Buy, Sell, Swap, and Trade Day. Along with the food and the merchandise, Swapping - Swapping Tales with Friends at one of Adair County's great traditions.
