Book: Pellyton & Barnetts Creek Veterans

2013-08-26 - Pellyton, KY - Photo by Mary Blair. Mary Ann Dean Blair, as most people at Barnett's Creek and the Pellyton Area know, has a popular book, "Pellyton & Barnett's Creek Veterans/Those who served with Honor, Sacrifice & Dignity," which was published in November 2011. She gave a copy of the book to me to give to the Adair County Public Library, 307 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, on my next stop by there. The book was designed by Joyce Evans Overstreet, who grew up in the Pellyton Community and was printed by Joyce & Greg Coomer's printing plant, Printing Creations, 110 N Monroe Street, in Downtown Columbia, KY. The books sell for $10, with all proceeds going to Barnett's Creek United Methodist Church. To order: Call the author at 270-384-8995, or write: MARY ANN BLAIR, 805 Sanders Ridge Road, Columbia, KY 42728. The books are also for sale at The Mustard Seed, in the Village of Pellyton, (Adair County), 17165 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY.
