Patty Rowe Nall gets replica of her birthplace

2013-08-18 - Downtown Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. Patty Rowe Nall has something only a few people do: A miniature replica of her birthplace. She was born born in the house in the background, to Judy & Osby Rowe. (Related photo: Judy Rowe and her children). Patty Rowe Nall was told by her mother that she was born in the front room of the house. The physician was Dr. Allan Mercer. The date was October 28, 1943. In the foreground, she and Dale Whittingham hold a replica of the house he made after being inspired by it while selling at the Farmers Market on the Square. In addition to offering miniatures built on spec, like this one, Whittingham takes commissions to build miniatures of almost any structure. He's a regular at the Farmers Market on the Square, held each Saturday, 8am-12pm noon CT, in the Adair Annex Parking Lot, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY.
