Canopy takes shape over front entrance ACPC

2013-08-13 - ACPC, 158 Col. Casey Drive, Columbia, KY - Photo by Shamarie Claiborne, Adair Co. School District photo. With the Countdown to the students to return to classes in the Adair County School Adair County Schools at 1 day, the system's newest facility, the Adair County Primary Center is fully functional for "Lift off to Learning," for the Rockets, the youngest students in the system in the newest school. The canopy for the bus approach in the back of the building is complete. This one, for parent to drop off and pick up students, in in the front facing Col. Casey Drive and the Adair Veterans Memorial Bypass is almost complete. Yet to be turned over to the district are the cafeteria, the gymnasium, and the media center. Superintendent Alan Reed said that Branscum Construction Company's Terry Loy has told him he's confident the District will have a totally completed facility by the end of August, 2013. "What they've done is nothing short of spectacular," he said. "They completed an 18 month project in a year and a few days."
