Lindsey Wilson Bell still exists

2013-08-01 - Lindsey Wilson College, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ruth Smith, Lindsey Wilson photo. Garry Coomer is dusting off the Lindsey Wilson Bell which once rang from the Administration Building entrance. Many had believed it had been sold for salvage. In fact, it was removed about 40 years ago and put in storage. Garry Coomer was part of the crew who removed the bell. He's now holds the longest tenure of any employee on the campus. Mike Newton, Director of Plant Operations, said that discussions will be underway for the best way to make the bell a part of the campus again.
