Scenic Adair Co., KY: Signature Eastern Red Cedars

Regardless of their role: As backdrops for redbud and dogwood, as a trellis for trumpet vine, as punctuation for snow, as natural fencerows and windbreaks, as Christmas Trees and ornament, as great habitat for wildlife, it's difficult to imagine this land without Eastern Red Cedar. It's a job to see them so well cared for and contained as they are along Ray Miller Road in Northern Adair County. Can't wait to see them here in winter. If Adair County chose a national tree, this would be a good one.
