Campbellsville 4th on 13th: Balloon lands on Green/Taylor line

2013-07-13 - Black Gnat, KY - Photo by Larry Smith. A hot air balloon is landing over the trees in Green County just beyong the Green-Taylor Water District water tank at Black Gnat, the big little community of beautiful homes surrounded by fertile farm land, which straddles the county line. It was a beautiful and the enormous crowd for the delayed event proves that people truly love the Campbellsville Fourth of July, no matter how the weather affects the schedule. The photo was taken Saturday, July 13, 2013. Not in the photo, but an interesting note, is the Hogard's Chapel United Methodist Church. The church's steps are in Green County, the sanctuary is in Taylor.
